History
Back in the year 1979, a team of
experts formed a firm, Diamond Rubbers which was engaged in the
production of various rubber products like rubber sheets for sports
industry and shoes industry, rubber chappals and rubber adhesives. In
1989, Shri J.L. Arora, a foresighted person alongside other core
professionals in the belting industry, began producing Rubber
Transmission Belts and Rubber Nylon Sandwich Belts. As he decided to
embark on a progressing path of ups and downs, there was no coming back.
In the year 1990, a facility was established for the production of
uniaxially oriented polyamide sheets of high tensile strength &
flexibility. The year was marked as a turning point in the brief
existence of the company, with the inclusion of Condenser Tapes, Spindle
Tapes and Leather Nylon Sandwich Beltings in he product list. After
which, in the year 1993 a leather tanning unit was set up and the
production of tanned leather was initiated in order to get better
management of quality of Leather belts. The rapid growth of the
companies, as well as its emphasis on quality & productivity were
duly recognized when our Chairman, Shri J.L. Arora was awarded the
National Award for entrepreneurship for the year 1994, by the President
of India. Consequently, our chairman established our company, Kapurthala
Durastic Private Limited to manufacture self-adhesive tapes for
stationery as well as packaging. The most advanced & completely
automatic plant was set up with a focus on multi-color as well as custom
printed self-adhesive tapes. In the year 2004, we began manufacturing
Heddle Belts/Grommet Bands, under the great leadership of our chairman.
After which, in the year 2008, manufacturing of Printing machine Belts,
Rubber Emery/Roller Coverings and other belts used in circular loom
industry, was initiated. To best serve the circular loom industry, our
company began with other replacement parts for the same industry and
presently, we provide most of the spares to the industry. Consequently,
in the year 2013, PVC/PU belts were also included in our collection and
currently, we have more than 30 different variants of such belts.
Infrastructure
Our infrastructure spans over a wide
area of 65,000 sq. ft., and comprises machines of latest technologies
with the help of which we manufacture the best products like Emery
Rough Belt, Timing Belt Both Sided, Upper Lower Heddle Belt, Upper Lower
with Rivet Belt, Rubber Nylon Sandwich Belt, Emery Zig Zag Belt, etc.
Taking into account the constantly developing technology, completely
automatic machines are installed in our facility for ensuring that
finest quality of goods are manufactured.
